Support the MRC

The NWLaMRC is supported in part by grants, gifts and donations. Other funding comes through partnerships with organizations such as the Metropolitan Medical Response System and Citizens Corps. There are many ways you can support the Medical Reserve Corps. Your contributions are tax deductible. Donations of goods and services such as printing services, desktop publishing, office supplies, banners, postage and promotional materials are helpful.

Volunteers are our greatest asset. One of the ways you can help is to sponsor volunteer recognition items such as t-shirts, backpacks, personal protective equipment and deployment kits. Field vests, communications equipment and identification materials are needed.

Another important way you can participate is to join our mission of emergency preparedness by becoming a member of our Emergency Resource Directory. This resource directory provides a mechanism to assure that supplies, equipment and services are readily accessible and available during and emergency which requires activation of shelter medical clinics or mass vaccination exercises.
